Production Process Description

1. Raw Material Feeding & Pre-Sorting

Fresh onions are fed into the system through a conveyor or feeding hopper. Manual or automatic sorting removes damaged or unsuitable raw materials to ensure consistent quality in downstream processing.

2. Bubble Washing System

Onions are cleaned using a bubble washing machine with water circulation and air agitation. This process effectively removes soil, dust, pesticide residues, and surface impurities without damaging the product.

3. Brush Cleaning (Optional Enhancement)

For heavily soiled onions, brush rollers provide additional mechanical cleaning to ensure thorough surface sanitation.

4. Onion Peeling Process

The peeling machine removes the outer skin efficiently using pneumatic or mechanical systems, reducing manual labor and improving processing speed.

5. Cutting & Slicing System

Onions are cut into various forms such as slices, rings, strips, or cubes depending on product requirements. Precision cutting ensures uniform size and appearance, which is critical for food processing and packaging.

6. Secondary Washing

After cutting, a second washing stage removes starch, small fragments, and residues generated during cutting, ensuring clean and safe products.

7. Dewatering & Air Drying

Centrifugal dewatering combined with air drying removes excess moisture, improving product shelf life and packaging efficiency.

8. Sorting & Inspection Conveyor

Final inspection ensures uniformity and removes defective pieces, maintaining product quality standards.

9. Packaging System

Automatic or semi-automatic packaging systems are used for efficient storage, transportation, and distribution.
