30-40kg/h Corn Puff Extruder for Rice Snack Processing

This 30–40 kg/h corn puff extruder is designed for producing puffed snacks from corn, rice, wheat, oats, and barley. Using single screw extrusion technology, grains are cooked through friction and high temperature before being shaped and cut through interchangeable molds. The machine produces crispy and easy-to-digest snacks with stable operation and adjustable cutting speed, making it suitable for small snack food processing plants.

Product Introduction for Corn Puff Extruder

The 30–40 kg/h corn puff extruder is a compact single screw extrusion machine designed for producing puffed snack foods from grains such as corn, rice, wheat, oats, and barley. Built with food-grade stainless steel components, the machine ensures hygienic processing and reliable performance for snack production.

During extrusion, raw materials are cooked through mechanical friction and controlled heating inside the barrel, forming expanded products when discharged through the die. Different molds allow the production of multiple snack shapes such as balls, tubes, rings, stars, and wheels.

This equipment is suitable for small snack food factories, grain processing workshops, and experimental food production facilities.

Main features

Single screw extrusion system efficiently cooks and expands grain materials through friction and controlled pressure.

Food-grade stainless steel feeding system ensures hygienic material handling during snack production.

Variable-frequency drive control allows adjustable feeding, extrusion, and cutting speeds for stable operation.

High-strength wear-resistant screw material improves durability and extends machine service life.

Interchangeable die molds enable production of multiple snack shapes such as balls, rings, tubes, and stars.

Working principle

Grain raw materials such as corn or rice are fed into the single screw extrusion chamber. As the screw rotates, materials are compressed, mixed, and heated by friction and pressure inside the barrel. The material becomes cooked and plasticized before being forced through a shaping die. When exiting the die, the pressure drops rapidly, causing expansion and forming puffed snack products that are cut into desired lengths by a rotating cutter.

Application scenarios

• Corn puff snack production lines
• Rice puff snack and grain snack processing plants
• Multi-grain extrusion snack manufacturing
• Small and medium snack food factories
• Experimental puffed snack research and development
• Ready-to-eat cereal snack processing facilities
