Product introduction of Rotary Drum Screen Filter
The Rotary Drum Screen Filter is an advanced mechanical filtration system used in wastewater treatment plants for fine screening and solid-liquid separation. Constructed with durable 316L stainless steel, the equipment operates through a continuously rotating drum that separates suspended solids from water with high efficiency. It is suitable for municipal sewage upgrading, industrial effluent treatment, and water recycling systems. With stable filtration performance and low maintenance requirements, it is widely used in STP and industrial pretreatment applications requiring reliable removal of suspended solids and turbidity control.

Working principle
Wastewater flows into the rotary drum screen filter where it is evenly distributed onto a rotating 316L stainless steel screen surface. Under gravity or pressure difference, water passes through the fine filtration medium while suspended solids are retained on the drum surface. The drum rotates continuously, and a backwashing system using high-pressure water (0.7 MPa) removes accumulated solids from the screen. The solids are discharged for further treatment, while clarified water exits with suspended solids ≤10 mg/L, ensuring stable and continuous filtration performance.
