1.A digital caliper is a high-precision measuring tool that combines traditional vernier calipers with modern electronic measurement technology. Using built-in electronic sensors and an LCD digital display, it displays measurement results in an intuitive digital format, eliminating the human error associated with traditional readings. Digital calipers not only quickly and accurately measure a variety of dimensions, including inner and outer diameters, depths, and step heights, but also offer data storage and output capabilities. This makes it an indispensable precision measurement tool for mechanical manufacturing, mold making, hardware testing, and scientific research.

2.Digital calipers measure based on the capacitive scale principle. As the caliper’s vernier moves along the scale, a sensor reads the displacement of the capacitive scale and converts it into a precise digital signal through chip processing. This signal then displays the measured value directly on the LCD screen, typically with an accuracy of 0.01mm. Compared to traditional vernier calipers and mechanical pointer calipers, digital calipers provide faster and clearer readings.
