Working principle

Sludge is first introduced into a conditioning zone where flocculation improves solid-liquid separation. It then enters a gravity drainage section where free water is removed through a permeable belt.

The partially thickened sludge moves into a compression zone where it is gradually pressed between multiple rollers. Mechanical pressure increases progressively, forcing additional water out through the filter belt.

The dewatered sludge is discharged as a solid cake, while filtrate is collected separately. The system operates continuously with adjustable belt speed to maintain stable dewatering efficiency under varying feed conditions.
