Product Introduction for Corn Flakes Extruder
The 120–1500 kg/h corn flakes extruder is a food processing machine designed for manufacturing breakfast cereals from corn flour and other grain materials. With a production capacity of 120 to 1500 kilograms per hour, the equipment provides stable and efficient cereal processing for commercial food manufacturing.
Using extrusion cooking technology, grain materials are processed into expanded cereal products with a crispy texture and uniform shape. The machine can produce different cereal forms such as flakes, pellets, or shaped cereals by adjusting the extrusion molds.
This equipment is widely used in breakfast cereal factories, grain processing facilities, and snack food production plants requiring reliable cereal manufacturing equipment.

Main features:
• Advanced extrusion cooking technology ensures stable cereal expansion and consistent product texture.
• Durable mechanical structure provides reliable performance during continuous cereal production.
• Interchangeable extrusion molds allow production of multiple cereal shapes such as flakes, pellets, or shaped cereals.
• Suitable for processing various grain raw materials including corn flour, rice flour, and mixed cereal ingredients.
• Efficient extrusion system ensures stable temperature and pressure control during cereal processing.

Working principle:
Corn flour or other grain materials are mixed with water and fed into the extrusion chamber. Inside the extruder, rotating screws generate high temperature, pressure, and mechanical shear, which cook and gelatinize the starch in the grains.
The processed material is then pushed through the extrusion die. When the material exits the die, the pressure drops rapidly, causing expansion and forming cereal shapes such as flakes or pellets. The products can then undergo drying, cooling, and packaging processes to obtain finished breakfast cereals.
Application scenarios:
• Corn flakes breakfast cereal production lines
• Grain-based breakfast cereal manufacturing plants
• Expanded cereal snack production lines
• Commercial breakfast cereal food factories
• Industrial puffed cereal manufacturing equipment
