3 m³/h horizontal centrifuge is a decanter-type separation equipment designed for continuous processing of liquid-solid and liquid-liquid-solid mixtures. It consists of a rotating drum, screw conveyor, differential drive, and structural frame made of corrosion-resistant materials. The system uses centrifugal force to accelerate sedimentation and separate phases with different densities. It solves challenges where gravity separation is insufficient, especially for fine particles or emulsions. It is widely used in food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and environmental industries where continuous operation, improved separation efficiency, and stable throughput are required.


Working Principle
The decanter centrifuge feeds mixed material into a high-speed rotating drum through a screw conveyor. Under centrifugal force, heavier solid particles move outward and form a sediment layer on the drum wall, while lighter liquid phases remain closer to the center. The screw continuously transports settled solids toward the discharge end. Separated liquid flows out through overflow ports. This process enables continuous separation based on density differences without relying on gravity sedimentation.
