2/3/4 Vessels Used Brewery Equipment
2-Vessel Brewhouse:
- Typically used in smaller breweries.
- Combines the mash and lautering processes into one vessel (Mash/Lauter Tun) and the boiling and whirlpooling into another (Kettle/Whirlpool Tun).
- Efficient for breweries with primarily single infusion mashes.
- May require more time to clean between batches compared to a 3 or 4-vessel system.

3-Vessel Brewhouse:
- Offers more flexibility than a 2-vessel system.
- Can have a dedicated Mash Tun, Lauter Tun, and a combined Kettle/Whirlpool or a Mash/Lauter Tun, Kettle, and Whirlpool.
- Allows for some simultaneous operations, like mashing while lautering.

4-Vessel Brewhouse:
- Provides the highest level of efficiency and flexibility.
- Features a dedicated vessel for each stage: Mash Tun, Lauter Tun, Kettle, and Whirlpool.
- Enables simultaneous operations, such as mashing while lautering and boiling, leading to increased batch production.
- Well-suited for medium to large-scale breweries.
