Snack Pellet Processing Line Product Introduction

The Snack Pellet Processing Line is a complete solution for producing half-pellet snacks, crispy chips and ready-to-fry snack products. The production process starts with raw material mixing and moisture adjustment, followed by extrusion cooking where materials are kneaded and cooked through pressure and friction heat.

The single screw extrusion system provides stable forming performance with different screw configurations suitable for various flour and starch ingredients. Customized dies allow manufacturers to create different shapes, sizes and thicknesses, including tube snacks, chips and other creative designs.

After forming and cutting, the semi-finished pellets are processed through cooling and low-temperature drying to achieve suitable moisture content for further frying or roasting. The integrated production line combines feeding, extrusion, shaping, drying and conveying systems to improve efficiency while maintaining product consistency. It is suitable for snack manufacturers looking to develop diversified crispy snack products.

Working Principle

The production process begins with mixing flour, starch and other ingredients with proper moisture content. The prepared material is transported into the single screw extruder, where it is kneaded and cooked through mechanical pressure and friction heat generated between the screw and barrel.

The cooked dough is pushed through customized dies to create continuous sheets, tubes or other shapes. After cooling, the formed material is cut into individual snack pellets using different cutting systems according to product requirements. The semi-finished pellets then enter the low-temperature drying process to reduce moisture and improve stability. The dried pellets can be further fried or roasted to achieve crispy texture and final snack characteristics.
