Working principle

Raw grains such as corn, rice, wheat, oats, or barley are fed into the extruder hopper. The rotating screw moves the material forward while friction between the screw and barrel generates heat and pressure, cooking and gelatinizing the grains. The cooked mixture is forced through a die where the shape is formed. A rotating cutter trims the extruded product into the desired size. By changing dies, the machine can produce shapes such as balls, tubes, sticks, rings, stars, and flowers while maintaining uniform puffing and crisp texture.
