Product Introduction for Corn Snack Extruder
The 30–550 kg/h corn snack extruder is an industrial food processing machine designed for producing puffed grain snacks from corn, rice, wheat, oats, and other cereals. Using twin-screw extrusion technology, the equipment cooks, expands, and shapes snack products through controlled temperature, pressure, and mechanical shear.
The machine can produce a wide variety of snack shapes including balls, rings, sticks, tubes, and star-shaped products. With stable operation and flexible production capability, it is widely used in snack food processing plants and cereal snack manufacturing facilities.
This equipment provides efficient and reliable production of puffed snacks with consistent texture and appealing appearance.

Main features:
• Compatible with multiple grain raw materials including corn, rice, wheat, oats, and barley.
• Interchangeable extrusion molds allow production of diverse snack shapes such as balls, rings, sticks, tubes, and stars.
• Food-grade stainless steel structure ensures hygienic processing, corrosion resistance, and long equipment lifespan.
• Flexible processing capability supports production of coated snacks, uncoated snacks, and filled cereal snacks.
• Stable mechanical transmission system provides reliable continuous operation for industrial snack manufacturing.

Working principle:
Grain materials such as corn, rice, wheat, or oats are first mixed with water and fed into the extrusion chamber. Inside the barrel, rotating twin screws generate heat, pressure, and mechanical shear, which cook and gelatinize the starch in the raw materials.
The cooked material is then forced through the extrusion die where it expands rapidly due to pressure release. A rotating cutter shapes the extruded material into various snack forms. The finished products can then be flavored, coated, dried, and packaged.
Application scenarios:
• Corn puff snack production lines
• Cheese ball and crispy corn snack manufacturing
• Grain-based puffed snack processing plants
• Breakfast cereal snack and multi-grain snack production
• Commercial snack food factories and processing facilities
