Regardless of the type, the core working principle remains consistent: The power source (gasoline or optional electric) drives a hydraulic pump to generate high-pressure thrust, which then pushes a wedge-equipped ram to squeeze logs—using the combined force of the wedge and high pressure to split wood. Notably, higher pressure (e.g., 50 tons) enables the machine to handle logs with larger diameters or greater hardness, ensuring strong adaptability for both professional and domestic use.
