30th Candidates' Night Dinner
is the premier political voice for the Arab American community in Virginia. Our goal is to deepen our community's involvement in Virginia's political process. Through our work, we inform Virginia's elected and non-elected officials about the concerns of our community, and support candidates who are committed to protecting civil liberties and constitutional rights of all Americans, including Arab Americans!
The Virginia Arab American Business Forum and The Virginia Arab American Democratic Caucus hosted the annual Business dinner with Congressman Gerry Connolly (D-11th)in the Private room of Shutters Restaurant at the Tysons Corner Marriott. The dinner was attended by 30 business leaders in the community.

candidates for State Senate, House of Delegates, County Chairs and Mayors County Supervisors, boards and city council and several other constitutional offices. Congressman Don Beyer who is not running this year attended the dinner as a friend of the community!

On October 6th 2019 We Celebrated Political Achievements of the Arab American Community In Virginia. We held at The Beautiful Fairview Marriott Hotel our 31st Arab American Candidates' Night Dinner with over 250 in the crowd including 39 candidates for Different offices, From county Chair to Sheriff , to Commonwealth Attorney to State Senator to School Board Chairs and membership to candidates' for the House of Delegates ! The Virginia Arab American Business Forum and Virginia Arab American Democratic Caucus hosted a dinner in Honor of Congressman Don Beyer. The room was packed, the dinner was delicious and the conversation constructive and mature. Several of the attendees had a chance to converse with the Congressman before the dinner was served. after the dinner the guest of honor spoke of his work since January and talked about his goals.

NDPAC Thanks General Assembly Democrats
The New Dominion PAC (NDPAC) and the Virginia Arab American Democratic Caucus (VAADC) held a thank you reception in honor of Virginia House of Delegates Democrats. To welcome them at the Walker’s Grill ( 6909 Metro Park Dr, Alexandria, VA 22310) Were Lee District Supervisor Jeff McKay and Former Congressman Jim Moran. Minority Leader Del. David Toscano and caucus members Del. Vivian Watts, Del. Mark Sickles, Del. Patrick hope, Del. Jennifer Boysko and Del. Paul Krizek all were in attendance.
In attendance were activist in the End the Israeli Occupation now Josh Ruebner, Jewish Voice for Peace & Freedom to Boycott-Virginia Co-Chair Seth Morrison and Richmonders for Peace in Israel and Palestine’ Nancy Wien.
Minority leader Del. David Toscano reiterated his firm support for freedom of speech and thought and pledged to continue to oppose any attempts at stifling free debate. Same message and strong support for principals of free speech were echoed by Delegates Watts, Sickles, Hope, Boysko and Krizek.
The event was attended by more than 50 NDPAC and VAADC supporters and friends.
Tim Kaine the latest Hill Democrat to announce plans to skip Netanyahu’s speech
"There is no reason to schedule this speech before Israeli voters go to the polls on March 17 and choose their own leadership," Kaine said in a Wednesday statement. "I am disappointed that, as of now, the speech has not been postponed. For this reason, I will not attend the speech." Continue...
