The New Dominion Political Action Committee - NDPAC is the premier political voice for the Arab American community in Virginia. Our goal is to deepen our community's involvement in Virginia's political process. Through our work, we inform Virginia's elected and non-elected officials about the concerns of our community, and support candidates who are committed to protecting civil liberties and constitutional rights of all Americans, including Arab Americans!

2012 Elections
The Arab American community in Virginia stands to play a very important role as a prominent component of the rapidly growing and fast becoming a decisive block in determining the outcome of elections. It is no secret that the national parties, the State-wide campaigns and local committees are actively seeking support and cooperation with leaders and opinion molders in the different ethnic and immigrant communities The new dominion PAC-NDPAC is a state Political Action Committee. As a state PACit is only allowed to contribute to state not Federal elections, we can however educate the voters in our community about the positions of the various candidates and ways we can advance our issues and concerns with elected officials and candidates.
This year members of the community as in previous election cycles are working as volunteers with several campaigns. We know who our friends are and we do support them. The recent fundraiser for Congressman Jim Moran was a testament to our involvement. Please reserve Sunday September 30th for this year’s Candidate Night. Saba L. Shami, President ___________________________ The new dominion PAC encourages the Arab American community to participate in this fall's "odd year" elections (no federal offices and no statewide races). While one election cannot be a clear indicator of tendencies it can at times give a clue of where attitudes are going and shifting. NDPAC in its sincere attempt to be even handed has for the first time in over 7 years contributed to candidates on both sides of the political divide. Keeping with our reason for existence, we gave to more democrats than to republicans. Our communities, while totally integrated in the life of our great commonwealth, still suffer from sporadic cases of discrimination and intolerance, and always find DEMOCRATIC politicians more willing to stand up and defend our legitimate civil and human rights. Vote your Conscience. I will vote straight Democratic! Saba L. Shami, President
